Day 01: Arrival Cochin
On arrival at the Airport/Railway Station in Cochin, you will be met and
transferred to Hotel. After lunch go across the Cochin Harbour, which
takes you to the gateway of the Arabian Sea. On arrival at Fort Cochin,
proceed on a sight seeing tour, which includes a visit to the Dutch
Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, etc.
Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin - Munnar
After an early morning breakfast, check out from the hotel & embark on a
fascinating journey to Munnar enjoying the stunning panoramic view of the
Cardamom hills & green carpets of tea plantations enroute, 150 kms and 05
hrs. On arrival, check in at Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure
trekking around the estate. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar
A morning sight seeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National
Park where you can see the very rare mountain goats locally called the
Nilgiri Tahr, Visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam, Echo Point, View Point &
Tea Gardens. Rest of the day at leisure and enjoy another overnight stay
at your hotel.
Day 04: Munnar - Thekkady
After an early breakfast, check out from the Hotel & proceed to the
wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady, 120 kms and 04 hrs and check in at
the Hotel. Go on an evening game viewing cruise on the Periyar Lake. Here
you will be able to see a large variety of wildlife, which include
elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc, and quite a lot of unique birds
can also be spotted. Later, come back to the hotel; relax & enjoy your
stay overnight.
Day 05 : Thekkady - Kumarakom
After morning breakfast, Proceed to Kumarakom, 140 kms and 04 hrs. Check
into a hotel at the bank of the Vembanand Lake where you will forget
everything except enjoyment of life. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 06: Kumarakom - Houseboat- Alleppey
After breakfast proceed to Alleppey, 40 kms and 01 hrs. Checkin to the
waiting houseboat. Enroute you can see many romantic beauty of the nature
which will remind you that you are in the "God's Own Country". You can
view coconut palm fringed canals and local people going for a fresh catch
of the day & Tapping of toddy (Local beverages) from palm trees. Rest of
the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the houseboat.
Day 07 : Alleppey - Kovalam
After sumptuous breakfast proceed to Kovalam, 185 kms and 05 hrs. Full day
at leisure at Beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 08: Kovalam
After breakfast proceed for a sight seeing of Thiruvananthapuram covering
Museum complex, Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Science & Technology museum, Veli
Tourist village, Aakulam boat club, Shangmugham Beach. Later back to
Kovalam for your another stay at Kovalam.
Day 09: Kovalam - Kanyakumari
Morning after breakfast proceed to Kanyakumari, 90 kms and 03 hrs. The
virgin Goddess Kanyakumari has watched over the phenomenon since the
beginning of time, standing at the top of the country in, as if, an
unending vigil, with the water of Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of
Bengal drawing to her feet. A temple stands here today, dedicated to the
virgin Goddess. Visit Swami Vivekananda Statue Island. Overnight at a
hotel.
Day 10: Departure Kanyakumari - Trivandrum
After breakfast, transfer to the Trivendrum airport, 90 kms and 03 hrs, to
board the flight for onward destination.
