Dharamshala

Dharamsala popularly known as the Scotland of India. The town varies in height from 1250 meters at the bazaar to 1768 metres at McLeodganj. The Dalai Lama settled here after his flight across the Himalayas following the Chinese invasion of Tibet in Oct. 1959


Day 1: Delhi - Manali
Arrive Delhi meet and assist at the Airport then drive to Manali, 570 kms and 11 hrs. Arrive Manali, transfer to the hotel. Rest of day is free for leisure. Overnight in Manali.

Day 02: Manali
After breakfast, proceed for half day city tour visiting Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht village and Tibetan Monastery. Afternoon is free for shopping. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 03: Manali - Rohtang Pass - Manali
After breakfast full day excursion visiting Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass (Up to the Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) and Sollang Valley. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 04: Manali - Dharamshala
Morning after breakfast, drive from Kullu to Mc Leodganj (Dharamsala), 200 kms and 04 hrs. On arrival check in at hotel. Later proceed for half day city tour visiting Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 05: Dharamshala
After breakfast full day excursion visiting Jawalmukhi Temple & Chintpurni Temple - these temples are one of the 51 Shakti peeths. Also visit Kangra Town. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.

Day 06: Dharamshala - Palampur
After morning breakfast, check out from hotel & drive to Palampur, 175 kms and 04 hrs. On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay in Palampur.

Day 07: Palampur
After breakfast, proceed for full day tour visit local sights including the Neughal Khad, a 300 metres chasm in the Bundla River. Overnight stay in Palampur.

Day 08: Palampur - Chandigarh
After breakfast, leave Palampur to Chandigarh, 290 kms and 06 hrs. En-route visit Pinjore Gardens. Arrive Chandigarh check in at Hotel. Over night stay in Chandigarh.

Day 09: Chandigarh - Delhi (250 kms/5 hrs. Approx)
After breakfast, check out hotel & proceed for half day city tour of Chandigarh visiting Sukna lake - The life line of Chandigarh, Rock Garden - Nek Chand's fantacy world, Rose Garden and government buildings etc and later drive to Delhi, 250 kms and 05 hrs. Arrive Delhi & transfer to Airport /Railway station for you're onwards destinations.
