Day 01: Arrive Paro

Assembled
at IGI Airport to board Druk Air flight for Paro. The flight into Paro can be
truly described as a flight into fantasy. A first hand, close up view of Mt.
Everest, Mt. Kanchejunga and other famous peaks become a reality. On arrival
you will be met by our representative and then drive to hotel to fresh up and
have lunch. After lunch to see the ruins of Drugyel Dzong, the fort of the Victorious
drukpas, as it was here that the Tibetans were defeated and driven back, though
it is now ruins due to a fire. Drive back to see the local shops , Dinner and
overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Paro To Thimphu
In the morning visit the National Museum which houses ancient weapons and artifacts
and housed in an ancient watch tower. You can get a good view of the Paro Rimpung
Dzong from here. Then deive to Thimpu (approx.02Hrs drive), the Capital of Bhutan
which lies at an elevation of 7,500 feet in a fertile valley traversed by the
Thimphu- Chhu river. Check in to hotel. Visit the Great Memorial Chorten built
in memory of his late Majesty, King Jime Dorje Wangchuk by his mother, the royal
grandmother, the Tashichho Dzong in athe evening when the monks are in Punakha
& National Assembly. A visit to the handicrafts Emporium, to see the exquisite
artistry of traditional crafts and textiles. At leisure in town for shopping.
Dinner and overnight at hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day
03: Thimphu to Punakha /Wangdi back to Thimphu
After an early breakfast drive over Dochula pass 3100m where you can have a
really beautiful view of the snow capped mountain tops to Punakha valley the
old capital of Bhutan. Here you can visit the dzong only when the monks are
in thimphu and see the local town. Then a short drive takes you to the wangdiphodrang
valley just local shops. Then drive back to Thimphu. Dinner and overnight at
hotel.
Day 04: Thimphu
Morning visit the National Library which hosts a vast collection of ancient
Buddhist manuscripts, the School of Thangkha Painting and the Traditional Medicine
Institute. Lunch.A visit to the Post office where you can a get a beautiful
collection of stamps. In the afternoon you could visit the Textile museum and
the Zangdopelri monsatery. Evening leisure. Dinner and overnight.
Day 05: Thimphu to Paro-Exit
Early morning drive to Paro airport to cat your flight for the next destination.

Day
01: Delhi-Paro-Thimphu

Met upon arrival-proceed to Thimpu (approx 02 hours drive), the capital of Bhutan
which lies at an elevation of 7,500
Feet and a fertile valley traversed by the Thimpu-Chhu River. Check in dinner
and overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Thimphu
After breakfast visit the national Library which hosts a vast collection of
ancient Buddhist manuscripts, the School of Thangkha Painting and the traditional
Medicine Institute. Lunch. A visit to the post office where you can get a beautiful
collection of stamps. In the afternoon you could visit the Textile Museum and

Day 03: Thimphu
After breakfast a visit to the weekly local market and experience of the vegetable
bazar the memorable Chorten built the memory of his late Majesty, King Jime

the evening when the monks are in Punakha & National Assembly. Lunch, A
visit to the handicrafts Emporium, to see the exquisite artistry of traditional

Day
04: Thimphu- Tongsa
The journey to central Bhutan starts today. After an early breakfast leave for
Tongsa as the drive may be take about 7 to 8 hours. On the way you will drive
over Dochula pass 3100 from here you can get beautiful mountain views on a clear
day Packed lunch on the way at Chendebji Chorten. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 05: Tongsa - Bumthang
In the morning visit the Ta Dzong or watch tower for the Tongsa Dzong in the
early days From Tongsa a 2 Hrs drive will get you to Bumthang the holiest valley
in Bhutan. In Bumthang you can visit the Wangdichholing Dzong Peiling Sermon
Chhorten Palrithang, New Ura lhakhang (monastery) and the member Tsho (flaming
apple juice factory overnight at lodge.
Day 06: Bumthang - Punakha
After an early breakfast leave for Punakha the old capital of Bhutan approximately
7 hours drive. Visit the Wangdiphodrang too on the way on at hotel.
Day
07: Punakha - Paro
Leave early for about 3hours. The visit the National Museum which houses ancient
