Day 1: Dibrugarh
Arrive Dibrugarh, meet ans assist at the airport. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. The town of Dibrugarh is on the banks of Brahmaputra. Dibrugarh which is the headquarter of the district derived its name from Dibarumukh. The name derived from the mouth(mukh) of the river Dibaru or Dibru(Bodo word dibru, a blister). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Dibrugarh - Namphake Village - Dibrugarh
After early breakfast, drive to Namphake Village (Approx 80 kms / 2 hrs drive). Visit to the Buddhist Monastery and the village. Return to Dibrugarh in the evening and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Dibrugarh - Tinsukia
After breakfast, visit to nearby Tea gardens. Later drive to Tinsukia (50 kms / 2 hrs drive). Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Tinsukia - Singhpho village - Tinsukia
After breakfast, drive to Singhpho village (50 kms / 2 hrs drive). Today you will visit villages & see the life of Singhpho people. Evening drive to Tinsukia. Overnight stay at hotel in Tinsukia.
Day 5: Tinsukia - Sivasagar – Jorhat
Early morning, drive to Jorhat, en-route Sivasagar which is 65 kms /1 ½ hrs drive (Tinsukia to Sivasagar is 195 kms / 3 hrs drive). Visit Charaideo,maidams or graveyards, Shiva Temple, Rang Ghar & many more. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jorhat.
Day 6 Jorhat – Nimati Ghat – Majuli - Nimati Ghat - Kaziranga
After breakfast, transfer to Nimatighat and then charter a ferry to Majuli (maximum two vehicle can go on the ferry, so if the group size is big then the guests have to be accommodated in two vehicles for going in & around Majuli).Visit Vaishnava Sattras, Later see the Satriyya dance. Evening return by ferry to Nimati Ghat and drive to Kaziranga (Approx. 120 kms / 2 hrs drive). Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.
Day 7: Kaziranga
Kaziranga is a title of a remarkable success story of conservation of the One
Horned India Rhinoceros and other wild lives in the North East India. It is not
only the homeland of the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros, but also provides
shelter to a variety of wild lives.Early morning elephant safari followed by two rounds of
Jeep safari. Evening Bihu dance. Overnight in Kaziranga.
Day 8: Kaziranga – Guwahati
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati (225 kms / 4 ½ hrs drive). Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel.
Day 9: Guwahati
After breakfast, excursion to Sualkuchi and Hajo villages. Overnight stay at hotel in Guwahati
Day 10: Guwahati Out
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati airport to connect flight to your onward destinations.
